What has happened to America? What is going on in Washington? What is "The State of the Union" today? In my opinion, it is not good. This is the reason that I have joined the "blogosphere". I want to open up a dialogue. I want to talk about the problems facing America today. I also want to talk discuss what things may be going right. Let's work together to try to solve the problems facing America today. Let's be honest, let's be civil, and above all work together as a team. The topics are not limited to politics.

So let's get started. Today a Gallup poll recorded a 13-point drop in Republican support for President Bush in the past couple of weeks. Pollsters and GOP lawmakers say many of President Bush's traditional supporters are frustrated with what they see as a betrayal of conservative principles in Washington. So what does this mean for the President? Do polls like this even matter? Let me know what you think.
